A lot of people are familiar with the location of the 45th parallel crossing in Perry, Maine. There is even a marker to show its location! But have you ever wondered where it would cross on the Pine Tree Trail? We did, so we checked it out and found out that it crosses in, of all places, Milford, Maine! Why, you might ask, is that so odd? Because the gentleman legislator who created the Pine Tree Trail in 1937 was none other than George E. Martin of.........ready for it?......Milford! Just a little fun fact for you!
